Beta 3
The Enterprise IDE Plugin is an architect and developer productivity suite for Adobe(R) Flex (R) Builder ™ 3 designed to simplify and aid the development of Enterprise Applications using Flex Builder 3.
The Enterprise IDE Plugin is currently on a public, free beta 3 release. This beta 3 release will time-expire on 60 days, when the plugin will need to be updated to the final release or removed. If the beta 3 is installed in an existing beta installation the trial period will be automatically extended by an additional 60 days. By installing the beta 3 release you agree to the terms specified in the beta 3 end-user license. Check the plugin requirements here.
Beta 3 Installation:
The beta 3 plugin can be installed from within Flex Builder using the Eclipse Software Updates as follows:
- Select Help >Software Updates > Find and Install…
- Leave “Search for new features to install” selected and click Next
- Click New Remote Site… and enter http://www.idefactory.com/update in the URL and Enterprise IDE as name
- Click Finish with the Enterprise IDE remote site selected
In case of firewall issues with the update the plugin can also be installed manually as follows:
- Download http://www.idefactory.com/downloads/enterpriseide_1.0.8b3.zip
- Unzip the contents of the zip file to your eclipse folder
In case of manual installation you may need to start Flex Builder with the -clean parameter to load the plugin correctly
